Referral Center
Here at SAFH, we know that hunger is only one part of a much larger problem facing families and individuals today, so we offer referrals and connections to other services in the city.
Currently, we have weekly Medicaid and Medicare sign-ups, in addition to health care sign-ups through the New York State of Health exchange. We have weekly SNAP (food stamps) screenings as well.
We host on a rolling-basis legal aid clinics, HIV/AIDS testing, flu shots, winter coat distribution, and many other services.
We are also able to provide written referrals to regular guests for connections to other services.
